Then I suggest you join my cause, on the eve of sweethearts day(such an evil day), my group of dedicated individuals will raid and pillage right stuff wielding katanas and coronas. We shall empty their refrigerators and proceed to avenge our fellow anime comrades by making them act out the entire series in pink tutus, and purple pokadoted boxers.

Lacking funding and a ride, we all decided to sit here and gripe about it. Little else to do.

or the DVD is a bootleg. by the way this will make me look stupid but what is a bootleg?

I bought the DVD at Frys Electronics the Fist DVD and the Box. The DVD player is a high end sony DVD, CD, RW ... what ever, im too lazy to type it out. The only program that ive tried running is Windows Media Player and it has no trouble displaying subtitles on my other DVDs .. even some of the bootlegs. i dont know what it is.

Bootlegs are illegal imports of anime from China. They have Chinese and English subtitles (poorly translated at that) and Japanese audio. Manga International, Anime Cartoon and FX are 3 examples of Bootlegger companies. Sometimes, they will use american DVD sources, and place them on fewer DVD's but they still contain everything an American DVD has, proper english subs and the dubs. (FX does this mainly)

most people just dont understand that its not inportant here, you post your opinons and or info. it usually has nothing to do with your sex, most of the time.

And as a note, there is a lot more than Chinese bootlegs.

ive seen bootlegs so bad you can actually hear the guy munching of popcorn cause all he is doing is video taping it with a camcorder (or when someobody gets up to go to the bathroom, its sad really) , to stuff that looks identical to the stuff they sell at suncoast, i'd put my money on it being a bootleg.

i've developed an rather interesting instictive reaction whenever anybody mentions the

, duck for cover.

i forgot to mention me and a friend once watched pirates of the carabian where to guy sat in the theaters for about half the movie, decided there was a better seat elsewhere and simplily got up and moved, camera and all. at least the dvd only cost us 2 bucks.
