The ORG's prefered method of using NEW anime in a vid...
I always wondered... Since it is frowned upon in this little corner of the world to dowload anime for AMV footage, what is the official (by official i of course mean unofficial) approved method of using New Anime (not available for purchase and and only viewable on Japanese television) in your amv?

Buying the Japanese R2 DVDs, probably.BasharOfTheAges wrote:Since it is frowned upon in this little corner of the world to dowload anime for AMV footage, what is the official (by official i of course mean unofficial) approved method of using New Anime (not available for purchase and and only viewable on Japanese television) in your amv?

I was speaking of series that have not yet premired on DVD in either the US or Japan, ones that are only available on TV in Japan (there is a time delay between tv premire and dvd premire, am i correct?)

you could get fansubs. but they can be a pain to edit with, and you'l have to remove the subtitles which aint realy that painful if you dont mind having the image slightly streched (not too noticably though) . you could also track down raw's , which are basicaly fansubs without subtitles. but dont ask for links to fansubs, its against forum rules. if you want them, IM someone on aim or something.

Well, i know what i need to do in that regard (obtaining fansubs / raws), i was just asking (somewhat retorically) what the org's opinion was on how to go about it given the fact that the org scorns using such methods...
