Texhnolyze compared with it's collaboration predecessors

Post by Sentient Satire » Fri Sep 24, 2004 8:08 am

This thread, so aptly named, is regarding the above...

The collaboration being the partnership between Ueda Yasuyuki and ABe Yoshitoshi (being the original character design/story and concept creator respectively). The previous projects being Serial Experiments Lain, and Haibane Renmei.

Interestingly enough, another integral part of the formula, Konaka Chiaki (series structure/screenplay) did not do Haibane Renmei's screenplay (Ueda-sama took a stab at it). Lain purists tend to flame Haibane Renmei from what I hear for it's change of pace as opposed to the darkness/bleakness of the current work and Lain. Simply adoring Lain, and excitedly trying to finish Texhnolyze, I wish to know what feelings abound.

This thread is meant to spur substantial discourse.

Ouch... Burned.

Oh, well, innumerable threads do this every week, fall into obscurity.
Did get some views though, perhaps throw Texhnolyze's name out there to those who would not have heard it otherwise.
