*sigh* Terrible joke aside,

Ok, after lurking around AnimeSuki and ANN forums, I discovered the following changes, edits, and etc that happened in episode 1:

The Marines is now the Navy
Devil's fruit is now Cursed fruit
"Gum Gum Pistol" is now "Gum Gum Blast"
Zoro is now Zolo (but you already knew that

)
Luffy calls himself "King of the Pirates" instead of "Pirate King"
Luffy didn't hit Coby; Coby just flinched.
4Kids changed the ENTIRE opening song into some crappy rap version which sounded worse than the opening song of Rave Master (but you already knew that as well

)

Why the hell has DEVIL'S fruit been changed?!?!

Is some kid going to start worshipping the devil because he hears that word? Even if he did would that be WRONG?!?! It's his choice. Man, I HATE censorship.

I haven't seen this One Piece and I'm not going to now.

Fine by me; the only character I think of when I hear "Pirate King" is Atomsk.

(And that title <i>did</i> carry over into the dub.)

It sounds like they totally fucked up the anime just like they did with Sailor moon changing the story. well hopefully i will see the orginal so i can know the real story but i guess for now im gonna have to know the crappy american version, just like i know the crappy american version of Sailor moon.
