Allright this leaves an interesting question then. Do you also count final flight in the animatrix as anime? Because while it is owned by squaresoft it was done in hawai by mostly americans. Or an even more interesting question. If i went to japan and made some animation could i then by right call it anime? Finally even more interesting, most if not all inbetweening is done by koreans or some small 3rd world peoples So if were going by were something was animated (by that turned from still key frames to the actual product) then are they the ones that really have the right to call what they do anime?
This has no relevence to the discussion above it

they could coexist together

video game music videos

it is as clear as it sounds.

is this site called VideoGameMusicVideos.org?

the answer to that is no.

but should video game music videos and anime music videos coexist with each other?

the answer to that is, it is possible.

will this site eventually allow video game music videos at a more mainstream fashion?

the answer to that is, not likely, but they should anyways, because video games are more mainstream than anime by far, and eventually the gameplay animations in video games will be the equivalence of a high quality anime like ghost in the shell for say. An example of such high end gameplay animations in a video game can be related to oh say: Doom3, Halo 2, Half Life 2, Dead or Alive series, Far Cry, Final Fantasy series, Burn Out 3, The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay, etc.

In truth this site will always be an anime-based music video site.

And your point is? Nearly half the videos on the damn site are based off of Square RPGs...well maybe not quite half, but enough, thats for sure.

okei devilmaykickass, i just didn't state the simplicity of what the name of this internet's site ment, but i also stated more. And if you will please, refresh your eyes on the rest of what you forgot to quote, for it tells what my POINT is you silly boy you! and yeah, there should be more video game music vids, and we can only hope for this site to open the magnitudes to that level of eye candy we all want more of...

But I'm still not understanding your point...are you saying that videogame music vids don't belong here and should be done away with or are you saying that they should be here and they're a good thing, or are you saying...something else? :?
