Resident Evil?

Hello! I'm new here!
I was really happy when I heard about AMV the first time, I've been looking for a music video creation community for some time.

But what shocks me is that I heard that Resident Evil videos can't be uploaded anymore? Well, can anyone confirm this?

But why are videos like Silent Hill allowed then? It's like the same as Resident Evil.
Well, I'm just asking this because until today I did 3 music videos with Resident Evil footage and would like to share them here!

actually i think that clips from the Resident Evil MOVIE, aren't allowed, the rest is pretty much ok. I mean, gaming Footage is fine as far as I know. If it isn't, I might as well have to put down one of my own vids hehehe =^.^=

well, gaming footage isnt allowed. only CGI is, and its allowed for any game as long as its made in japan.

My new video has scenes from a concert in it, but 90% of it is like game stuff, that's also ok?

Really because i got disqualified from the last VCAs because i had a resident evil games AMV which i was forced to delete.

to answer your question. Feel free to share them with people on the org. Just upload it to your own server. If you have a direct link to it, people will be able to download it. you shouldnt make an entry in your a-m-v.org profile, because yes, that might get you disqualified from the VCAs.

only CGI that pertains to anime (Final Fantasy, Most RPGs) are allowed on the site for local upload.

No, that's wrong.

Any animation (2d, 3d or other) created in japan is allowed on the server.

Resident evil being marked as non-anime is an oversight. Silent hill is correctly marked as ok, and so on.

and how do you define anime-influenced?

In what way is final fantasy anime-influenced?

I just have one question left no one answered, yet.
In my new music video, there's CGI stuff, in game stuff and video scenes from a concert. (There's not a lot of the concert at all).
