GMVs on MTV2

When mtv2 annoucnes they'll start running anime music videos (Fan based or otherwise) then I'll pay for mtv2, otherwise, I have enough cd's to hold me over (plus the org if I wanna watch footage with them >>).

video game music vids,

we need more of them, AND NOT JUST FINAL FU**ING FANTASY LOL,

for god's sake give me a DOOM 3 vid with old school heavy metal,

or some HALO 2 or HALF LIFE 2 or some other dramatic first person shooter with synphomy music and crazy trance or club music!

oh god, why another final fanasy vid! why! they are too many and too many!

So many video games over looked like the beautyful BURN OUT 3 oh god why! why have they been overlooked! damn squarenix! we need you HALO oh precious ingame footage!

pleaz! god shoot me with a lightning bolt that wasn't casted by a wizard with a Thunder 3 spell lol! hit me with some SSX3, some devil may cry, but pleaz not another final fantasy vid....

oh to many video games....and so many have been over looked, it is a tragedy indeed....lost....but not forgotten....

Because FF vids actually have footage to be worked with, unlike those other games...they aren't filled with FMVs like square RPGs tend to be, and the video entry rules say:

The video is an anime music video. For the purposes of this site, an anime music video is defined as a music video where the majority of the footage comes from anime. For the purposes of this site, anime-style video game cut scenes (such as Final Fantasy) are considered "anime".

Meaning no in game, or where your playing the game, the FMV cutscenes...and those other games just don't have that, plus most of if not all the games(save Devil May Cry) you named are not Japanese games, which are whats allowed.

It used to go into greater depth about this but I see its been shortened. Either way, theres not much that have a great deal of footage to work with besides FF...sorry.

And now if you'll excuse me I have a new FF video to start working on. Oh and due check out the one in my sig if you haven't.

For the love of God, MikaelJuha, will you STOP posting trying to get people to make more GMVs?

If they don't use anime-styled animation, <i>you won't be seeing them here.</i> That's site policy, and it isn't changing anytime soon. Get over it. Take it to some other forum.
