I sometimes remember things in third-person... wierd, isn`t it? I find that usually you remember only what was in the center of your attention. For example, sometimes you remember takling to someone but you have no idea where. In that case, you could blur everything that isn`t important in the scene.
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

I think that memory works in a fundamentally different way than senory imput, therefore it's imposible to accuratly display anything but the most vivid memory. Minority Report has some interesting ideas on the subject though. You might want to check it out.Zarxrax wrote:If you've seen the movie Minority Report... If you can't get ahold of a copy I'll try to discribe it but it's been awhile. They avoided rectangular edges and did the thing in scraps of recolection. The colors were heavily saturated and there was a lot of selectie blurring. There was sound but it was far away sounding and slightly tinny. They repeated things a lot.

I get my memories in different ways actually:
Dream-like memories.
Glimpses of the memories.
Flash-backs.
Movie-like memories (a flash-back but like in a movie ("surreal"))
Other.
