Hey, I'm working on a Comedy vid, and it says the word "Shit" once, pretty clearly. Is that "acceptable" ? Here is the song in case you have it already:

Tenacious D - "One note song"

I cut out all the F words, but the "Shit" I wasn't sure about. Thanks.

Is there a torture section this year, if not I guess it could go under comedy, Actually part of it is a parody.

It doesn't have to comedy or parody.. normal contest entries are allowed too.. the main thing, is we need entries!

...but let me quote from that webpage anyways

"The AnimeUSA AMV contest screening is open to the public, and because of that, we must be wary of the content we show. Explicit lyrics, violence, or sexual content may be grounds for disqualification. If you would feel uncomfortable watching your video with your mother and your six-year-old sister, chances are we might have a problem showing it."

So please take that in-consideration... if it seems inappropriate, it might get disqualified (aka DQ'd).

Meh, thats exactly the problem. The whole "may be disqualified" is why I'm asking. Is there a way that I could send whoever is deciding this the song so they could determine whether the dialogue is acceptable. I actually DID sit down with my mom and went through the song, and she didn't have a problem, but then again, its MY mom ^_^;; .

I'de really like to know if it would be accepted BEFORE is start doing major editing on it because this contest is one of the reasons I wanted to make this.
