You can't help me, my self-esteem is lower then that of a rock. Which, theoretically, has noneAMV_4000 wrote:ok, tell me what con it is and i'll enter The best LBZ Vid EVAR!! that way you wont feel stupid, there will definately be a vid worse then yours!!Pyle wrote:I finally have started working on a video I think is worthy enough for a con. agreed, i was scared *YES I SAID I WAS SCARED!* to enter awa last year, i didnt want to enter unless i was going, which wasnt planned, but i finally got the balls to enter my amvs into a contest in florida * a small con with only a handful of amv creators* i won the BEST OVERALL contest, which was shocking at first... anyways, the moral of the story is, get sum balls, no body wants to lose, but its a chance you gotta take, not very man bad vids are remembered, so even if they didnt like your vid, they wouldnt go up to you and kill you for it! but if they even somewhat liked it, then people would like you... think about that... now, get some balls, and enter a contest! you can do it!!Scintilla wrote:One that you can attend. It's a lot more fun being able to sit there and see your video played on the big screen in front of thousands (or hundreds) than to have to sit at home wondering all weekend long how your video did.
Unfortunately, I have no idea where you live, so I can't suggest specific cons.
yeah, good idea. another thing to keep in mind is that every con is going to have a different deadline. I've been in contests where I needed to upload my video over a month before, and even some where I only had to bring my video to the con in person and hand it in that morning. lol.Illia Sadri wrote:To get an idea on some of the cons I recommend checking out fansview as that site has links for virtually every convention in the country. See what cons are coming up you might be able to attend or would like to submit to and see what their specific rules and dates are. Follow all the rules (always makes contest coordinators happy) and give it a shot. There's nothing to lose save maybe 2 dollars in a disk and postage.
