I'd like to give you an idea, but it would really help if you told me what video games you're going to use. Judging from your previous video, I'd say that you're going for something with action. Do you want another song like "Requiem?" Or would you prefer something like a techno? Or rock? I think I can help if you specify a little more what you want. Thanks for your time.

Farewell, Good Luck, and Happy AMV-ing!

Well the video games I'm going to use is:
Berserk
Blood Rayne
City of Heroes
City of Villains
Dawn of War
Demon Stone
Devil May Cry3
Dragon Ball Z bk3
Ghost In The Shell Sac
Gundam E.I.S
GunGrave OD
Jade Empire
Legend of Zelda
metroid prime 2
Ninja Gaiden
Otogi2
Prince of Persia 2
Resident Evil 4
Shin Megami Tensei
Sonic Heroes
Virtua Quest
X-men Legends
and more later on.
On my upcoming music video I'm going to use a lot of action so much action it will just want to make you jump up and punch your monitor. I was looking for a song like "Requim", but if you can't find a song like "Requim" I guess I'll take a techno or trance. Peace Out

Hey there! I was poking about in my CD collection, and I think I found some decent starter songs. To be honest, I only found a few, but I also didn't look for very long either. So, here they are!

Xenogears - "Light from the Netherworld" - If you want something similar to "Requiem," then this would be the song for you. It has the intense orchestrals, and it is just a very nice song in general. As for how well it would work for action, I'm not sure. I saw an amazing Neon Genesis Evangelion video to this song, but it might not be quite what you are envisioning for your own video. Also, this song clocks in at nearly five minutes.

Vanessa Mae - "Storm" - Don't let this song's quiet opening deceive you. It has enormous potential for an action based video. After the opening, it breaks into a vicious violin techno. This song is shorter than the first, at about three minutes and forty-five seconds.

(Okay, I have to admit, when I recalled this next song, I almost laughed at how obviously well it would work for your video.)
The Matrix Revolutions - "Navras" - Okay, let me start by saying that this is an AWESOME SONG. I love everything about it. It would lend itself PERFECTLY to not only an 'in-your-face' action video, but also to just a very intense video. It has a powerful orchestral section at the beginning, a super-powered, but very musical, techno part in the second half. It then leads into a very 'ritual-chant' sounding part, with a very quiet, but mysterious, part right after that. This part of the song is roughly two minutes long. It goes into the powerful orchestral section again, followed by the techno again, and finally it has an extremely powerful orchestral ending. I really hope that you like this song, because I definitely think that it would be perfect for what you have in mind. One last thing. The song tops out at nine minutes and eight seconds. It is a VERY LONG song. Although, if you plan to use as many games as you say you are, then I don't think footage would be a problem. You would just have to find the inspiration.

I hope that this can help you in some way. I haven't even heard of half of those games (then again, some of them haven't come out yet, of course.) Even if you don't like any of those three songs, I still enjoyed hunting about for ideas for you. ^_^

Wow These are some great songs. I think I'm going to use Storm but my friend also said that "Flame" from Taku Iwasaki is good. I agree with him but I think I'm going to edit my project using flame and storm and see which one is the best. Well thanks for helping I enjoy hearing these songs hopefully after I'm finish you can check it out and maybe I will use one of these songs in the future. Thanks again and Peace out. m \^_^/ m

Well...

Hey, I listened to "Flame." That's a really great song. It could definitely work for quick-moving action video. Then again, many fast songs in a 6/8 time signature work great for those types of action videos. Eek...sorry. If you don't know musical terminology, then you probably had no clue what I meant when I said "6/8 time signature." Oops. I didn't mean to get technical on you. ^_^ Anyway, I think I really like "Flame." You could do a lot with that song and your idea. So, have fun!

As always, Farewell, Good Luck, and Happy AMV-ing!
