I'm planning on going to NekoCon 7!! Whoot whoot! I can't wait for Nov.! It will be my first con...any pointers or suggestions?

Neko should be fun.

Beware, though, if you're entering the AMV contest. It is run by the person that did the Anime Mid-Atlantic contest this year. (A different person, though, is putting together the contest reel.) Anyone who saw or participated in the AMA contest knew how much of a travesty that was. Knowing full well about that, though, I'm still competing because it's my hometown contest.

Thanks for that hint! Sadly, I won't be entering the contest. I'm just a fan of AMV's and anime in general...(whoot whoot a spectator!)

Book your hotel room now.

The Holiday Inn says there's no more rooms available -- but you should just keep calling to see if anything opens up between now and then. There are three other hotels within easy walking distance of the Holiday Inn: The Red Roof, the Hampton Inn, and Best Value Inn. You can get a decent room at the Red Roof for a good price. Hampton Inn isn't too bad either because they've got very decent rooms... albeit the price is about the same as the Holiday Inn. (There's also a Motel 6 close by, but it is a bit more of a walk to the Holiday Inn than the other hotels.)

Thank goodness you said something! I would of been pissed if I wasn't able to get a room...lol I'd be sleeping in my car 0.0;
