The easiest, of course, is to make your own!

(sorry if that sounds dumb, but that's the answer, really)

Otherwise, it seems to be a kind of buddy-buddy thing

They most likely want people with experience or there pals, and like Otohiko said, make your own.. It's better that way anyway, to me atleast.. :?

Fact of Org life: Unless they are actively recruiting, no one wants you to join their studio.

I say do what everyone else said and make your own. It's what I did, and I've never regretted it (not even when DSS was still looking for new members, back in the winter).

(Another fact of Org life: Unless they actively ask you, no one wants to join your studio.)

Some of us build, some of us teach... some of us build, some of us teach... some of us kill what some of us eat - that is a fact of life DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN

Err...

Well, really, if you're eager to have a studio with someone else, it's best to give yourself some credibility through videos and get around in the community a bit. I'm yet to see a serious studio to just pick up random members as they come by - generally, multi-editor studios know each other pretty well, and have something common in their editing aspirations.

One quick way to get involved with others is joining a multi-editor project. These are generally open, there's a lot of them around lately, and they'll give you a good idea of what it's like to work on AMV's with others as opposed to independently.

yeah like oto said, make some fantastic and fantasticaly complex amv, show it to the studios members and they might let you join. might.

personaly, i like to stand on my own shoulders, so to speak. and i dont realy find much meaning or use to studios. oh and, thiers allways expectations to perform at the studios level. which can put preasure on amv'ers.

If you're that desperate, for 20% and/or your first born male child, I'll e-mail you my 10 second bumper. The first 5 seconds has the 'official' Streamlier Studios logo featuring the nifty art deco font. The last 5 seconds is for your title screen.

Warning - The bumper has been known to induce panic attacks in those that have previously suffered through my videos. :P
