Evil Subtitles

Post by Blended Herb » Mon Sep 06, 2004 7:55 pm

I have made 2 AMV's using the popular anime Naruto, I took the footage from episodes my friend gave me, of course these episodes have subtitles. Now everyone who lacks AMV knowledge around me has told me the videos are excellent, and everyone with AMV knowledge around me has told that the videos are really good, it is just the subtitles are a distracter, and take away from the AMV itself. I was wondering, what programs or how do I get them off. Or can't I? If there is a program letting me know where/how to get would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advanced

Just use the null transform and resize filters in VirtualDub.

Suprisingly enough, NOBODY is able to tell the difference. Most people will even think you used RAWs.

If by resize you mean cropping, then it might be easy to tell. :P

Almost 40 bucks($35.60), for three episodes, of Naruto. So, roughly $1,200 dollars for the 99 epsiodes I've seen out so far.

if you crop off an even amount as on the bottom as the sides (i.e. 44 off botton; 22 off left 22 of right) and then resized (without NearestNeighbor); then yeah, your method would be more stealthy...
