They guarantee that every editor who submits will have at least one of their works shown some time during the convention- but don't make any promises beyond that. Since each person can submit up to 2 hours of foootage for expo, it's actually pretty likely (if not guaranteed) that there isn't time to show everything that was submitted.

I think bakadeshi means "what if they get so many unique creators that there isn't physically enough time"?

Guh, the department of redundancy department. :(

Anyway, the answer to Bakadeshi's question is "we'll cross that bridge when we come to it." We're slowly approaching that point, but really, we should see it coming and can plan accordingly.

I'm sure that then they would set some rules about subtitles and quality of footage(at least I hope) ;)

I'm sure over 1000 videos...

the would only play 1 from each person, and they would probably start with videos from people whpo attend...

yea thats what I ment. If say 2 years from now, so many new editors come on the scene that they actaully get so many videos that its not physically posible to show even 1 from each creator is all I meant.

I guess then they would have to start screening and eliminating some or something along those lines. (or maybe 2 dedicated rooms with diferent programming) Just wondering if you guys ever considered that.

An overflow room which showed Expo extras during panels or projects might be an option.

yah, although space looked limited last year, im sure they could pull it off though.. i would like to see that.. get a small room *game room size* and play all of the expo vids.. that way mostly everything gets shown.. thats an idea!

Re: Overflow.

Hmmm. Not a bad idea. We've bought out more rooms in the con hotel this year.... Won't be a problem this year though. We should have enough room to show one from everyone.
