I'll probably have this figured out soon enough, but just in case I don't...
How the heck do I make Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 2 stop with the "Information Bar" blocking my downloads? It pops up all friendly like, warning me that this site is trying to make me download something (DUH) and gives me the option of downloading the file. Of course, if I hit this, this site in it's infinite wisdom decides I've tried to download the file twice in less than 60 secs. I guess I could just wait 60 secs, but there's gotta be a way to turn this 'feature' off....
We are currently aware of slow responsiveness from the site & forum. This is due to our new server migration efforts and the presence of an overly aggressive bot / web crawler. Both issues should be resolved soon.

Yeah, help files rule.
Sorry to waste the time of anyone who read this....
But if you have the same problem, here's how to fix it.
Tools/Internet Options/Security tab
Click on "Custom Level"
Scroll through that list until you find "Automatic prompting for file downloads" Click on "Enable" under that. Bam. Easy, right?
