27 second intro...too long?

so me and my friend nissan made our intro for our studio today and its 27 seconds long...i was just wondering if you guys think it might be too long, because you know 27 seconds

so yeah...

i would rather not download a video with a 27-second long intro unless its part of the video. or if the video can cure cancer and make muffins. at the same time.
i'd say ~10 seconds is as long as an intro could be before it bugs me.

F'get that. Anything less than 30 seconds is unquestionably fine. And even if its a little over if its cool enough then hey.

27 seconds?
wow thats a long-ass intro

when making intros like that, you also have to consider the many people with dial-up: they give hours and hours just to download one video. When they are finally able to watch the downloaded video, they find that 1/3 of it belongs to the intro.
So, even if the intro looks cool, it might be a better if you cut it down a little...im sure if you put your heads together, you can make an even cooler one thats shorter

I like the ten second rule, myself. (Personally, my intro is 7 seconds long.)But it's up to the creator really, not the viewer. I do my best to judge a video on the video, not on the bumpers (no matter how good/bad they are).
