In Search of Old Anime Video...

Was watching Eiko Tanaka in the interview for Animatrix, when I saw something I haven't seen in years.... there's a poster of a face with goggles on behind her!! I actually remember listening to the soundtrack, and seeing anime on Mtv that boasted the same style/character.

Please, have pitty on me, for I can't remember what the heck it was called, or who produced the CD/Video/Short.

I think you might be searching for the video to "Extra" by Ken Ishii. It's not an amv, it's original animation directed by Kouji Morimoto.

I remember my friend having the CD set and he went on about how it was played on Mtv. I had seen the videos once late at night on AmpTv, but then again, you're only half awake if you watch AmpTv.

Thank you so very much!! Now to find myself a copy of the CD set and video... Hrmmm. That's gonna be fun. This was made back in 1995.

yeah Morimoto has done couple of other music videos for some artists like "Glay" and "The Bluetones"
