Anime Reviews Forum

I know that having individual member reviews is on the list of to-do items on the page. However, I would imagine that you wouldn't be able to reply to such reviews. I would like to suggest a forum for "Anime Reviews" - people could review an anime they have seen and then others could reply. (I always like discussion more than statements of opinions)

I know that this could just go into "General Anime" but such reviews would obviously be littered with spoilers. Maybe by having a separate forum, less people would end up reading something they wish they wouldn't. Another way to avoid having yet another forum would be to preceed every topic thread with Review, e.g. "REVIEW - Ghost In the Shell"

The reviews are important to me because I am not able to watch many anime series (well, entirely at least) before buying them and rely on other suggestions/recommendations on what to buy. Plus, I love discussing anime in ways that are not "what is your favorite ________" (Yes I was once guilty of starting such a thread, but I have learned! :lol: )
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

This is an anime music video forum, not an anime forum. I'm sure there are dozens of anime forums out there which already provide such review forums - not to mention the plethora of web sites which offer anime reviews.

I agree with JBone, an anime reviews forum would be a little more on a tangent away from AMVs than we allready are, god that Way Off Topic forum lives up to its name. If you want to leave revies I suggest you just do it in teh anime forum.

err...I guess I wasn't thinking it through very well. I shouldn't have really said "Anime Reviews" more like just discussions "i saw this today and I thought it was really good - did anyone else like it" and then have some sort of conversation...which could be done in general anime. Sorry, you're right that this isn't the place for that....

(.....but i still feel it's more related to AMV making than a lot of threads on this site.....)

I don't really explore Anime websites that much (this is the only forum I've ever been to) other than to find pictures I am curious about or look up release dates. Could you suggest a good place to look for more general anime forums? That's probably what I should have asked in the first place.....sorry

Sounds good but needs improvment, the ideas sounds but not steady...
