Has anyone seen this new Gainax anime which directed by Anno? From what I got from the screencaps, it's very campy and stayed true to the original version added with Gainax-styled fanservice. 8)

That guy with the glasses just looks cool, kinda like a young spike, in the sixties, with um glasses. I'm guessing some form of action comedy?

Hmm,, action/comedy/fanservice, usually my favorite kind of anime, but not really this one, im more into stupid humor stuff.

I've just seen the first episode.



I never seen so much breasts in a few minutes. But despite that, the animation by Toei Animation is VERY 60s and 70s (not to mentioned some obscure references of Lupin III); it was almost like watching an Austin Powers movie. I haven't seen the original and any other reincarnations, but it's safe to say that GAINAX's Hideaki Anno made a pretty damn good tribute.

There's A LOT of weird and sexy moments in this episode so it might be awhile for me to choose some good screencaps.
