If i were you... i wouldnt use other peoples AMVs for your source footage...
and if you really have no other choice....at least ask them first...
a good way to remove audio is to bring it into Virtual dub and direct stream copy with audio - > no audio....
i dunno... if you want to edit with real source footage i can point you to the guides....

Also, in WMM2 there's a little button above the timeline (next the the microphone) that says "Set Audio Levels" when you hover over it. You can set it to how loud the music is compared to the already existing audio. Push it all the way to music and only the song you chose will be heard.
