Trying to pick a RahXephon DVD

I own the 1st RahXephon DVD, but I want to rent another one that has some really good footage on it. I'm looking for scenes of:
-Romance between Ayato and Mishima or Hakura
-Lotsa random pretty Mishima scenes...
-Lotsa random pretty Ayato scenes...

And could anyone tell me which episode it is where Ayato grows wings?

i dunno, but if you're looking for good footage, try the movie.

I've heard about the movie, but I'm worried the animation might look too different in comparison to the series. Like in the Escaflowne movie, the characters looked almost completely different, which kind of sucked. I'm mostly just looking for some good episodes. I've only seen up to the third volume, so I'm wondering what DVD you guys would suggest I get.

but instead of just getting random dvds and gettin lost. i'd rather get the rest first...

its kinda hard to get good footage without skipping over so many episodes and spoiling it for your self....save up money and buy the whole damn series.

The characters in RahXephon: Pluralitas Concentio were not drawn differently than they were in the series. In fact, the movie uses a great deal of footage from the series itself...

Although in some of the movie-exclusive scenes you can notice a cheaper kind of animation, which is pretty sad since movies are supposed to boast higher production values than series.

I've seen a part of the series already and I wasn't that into it. I'm pretty much only looking for video footage. I would even have enough with only the one DVD I have, since it's a various video, but I want a bit more to work with.

Yeah, I thought it would be better animation.

Guess not. But hopefully I'll get to see the movie sometime. It could be interesting...

You should consider watching the whole series, it's amazing. Plus you need to get the whole feel for the series and characters, I mean a lot changes from the first DVD
