Ok..I feel stupid for asking this...but I want to make a text only video to music...kind of like a trailer, but it has no other footage in it, just moving text with effects and stuff. I've seen this before on some counterstike music videos and I would like a hint to help me get started. Do you do it in Premier or what? Please help, thanks.
(oh, and i've searched the forums and guides already, they just talk about 'bumpers' but there's nothing that I could find that actually explains how to do them.)

You can do it in Premiere, or almost any other NLE.
Make titles (or make them in Photoshop/PSP/The GIMP/MS Paint/whatever and import them), throw 'em in the timeline, and apply whatever effects you like.
You're probably not going to find any guides or how-tos on making bumpers, because more than anything, they're an expression of individuality. You can make yours however you like (just don't make them too long, or people get annoyed).
Example: My first Aquiline bumper was merely a still shot of an eagle against a snowy mountain with text on it (Gaze font then as now) that faded out. My latest one incorporates image mattes with feathered edges that move across the screen in coordination with a lens flare.
So really, they can be as simple or as complicated as you like... as long as they look good and aren't too long.
