a good or bad idea?

i just order the complete hellsing dvd set used for $12. new it would of cost $100. at first this mite seem like a good idea. but, i got an other anime cheap but it had no english translation. i dont know what will happen, i need to put more thinking into the things i get. what do you think? should i be reckless or pre-think about things i buy then it comes to anime?

Maybe it's just me but I like quality. You may have saved but if the dvd set has something wrong with it then you just bought a $12 piece of crap.
I don't trust used things ever, I buy everything new, no matter the cost.
And I check that it's a good product and I'm getting my money's worth.
Researching everything, getting good deals and great products, that's what one should do.
If I were you I would most definitely think.

Not everything's wrong with Used, unless it's eBay, then it's worse.
The point of Used is to recycle another's goods. The secondhand market may be bad news for Corporate America, but in the end it helps our economy by making more product accessible. There's nothing wrong with insisting on new, but Used doesn't mean "bad" either.

Is it a bootleg or a legit copy? For some reason I'm suspecting at those prices, it might be a disc with "THE HELLSING" printed in Times New Roman on the front in blue.

If you're talking about my comment I said that I as in ME don't specifically trust anything that isn't new.
It's my opinion, one that I've all the right to posses and communicate to others.
New beats used, it’s a known fact.
Unless the product is "perfect" even though it's been used before. Not likely.
