Autechre
Aphex Twin

Oh, wait...you wanted trance, not crazy-ass digital nightmare music (a far better name for the genre than "IDM", in my mind)

Try Zero 7. They're more acid jazz than trance, but they're really good.

Discogs.com is a data base that used to be only for electronic music. They're branching out now, but they're still the definitive resource for all kinds of techno, etc.

Digitally Imported streams various types of electronica, but primarily trance. I'd suggest listening for awhile and picking out the titles of music that you like. DI.fm also hosts Ishkur's Guide to Electronic Music.

Right now, DI is playing something by Ian Van Dahl. They are similar in style (female vocals) to 4 Strings.

Some other names:
* BT - check out ErMaC's "I Pray" vid for a sample.
* Ferry Corsten - I'm still listening to his latest CD, "Right of Way"
* Chicane - classic late-90s trance
* Conjure One - see Feanor's "Metropolis" AMV
* Astral Projection - Goa/psy trance from Israel

Single titles that have caught my attention:
* Nadjanema - Unknown Source
* Sweatest Dreams - Corderoy
* Fall From Grace - Darren Tate
* Timeless - Ron van den Beuken
* Clokx - Clokx (club mix only)
* Destroy She Said - Circ

Typo alert: that's supposed to be "Sweetest Dreams" (it's got nothing to do with working out :P ).

And "database" should be one word :roll: .

At least I spelled Clokx right. It's an alias for Ron van den Beuken who's also listed.
