Call me old fasion but didnt people used to buy these compacted discs that ran in a compact disc player???

I dont know to be quite honest, can anyone help me out with this tough one? :?

The loss isn`t as humungous as you think. Plus, if the file isn`t AVI, then you only convert to mp3 once. I do agree that the VirtualDub method is better, but at the time of the posts in question, I didn`t know what the program was. Unbelievable? Yes. But I only used Windows Movie Maker at the time so I didn`t need it.
