Probably because it's been hard to get. And I wouldn't think of using my fansubs for something like this. Now, the live action "Oscar" might make an interesting video if the DVD is still in print (the movie was junk, BTW).

On topic...I have to push one of my own vids since I have the only "Little Mermaid" AMV in the database (and this does not mean Disney). The anime very old school (i.e. Seventies), but is worth seeing - except that it's almost impossible to find a hard copy.

I also have one of only two or three "Windaria" vids in the database, although I should have another one available in about a month. I'd hate to see this one overused, but it could stand some more videos. At least the Macek version of the anime is out on DVD now.

There aren't enough "Totoro" AMVs, either. Only about a dozen with purely "Totoro" footage, like Lostboy's The Pony Man.

I heard the Live Action movie was horrible. There are alternatives to using fansubs. There are Italian DVDs and Korean DVDs, and a google search should come up with something. They're not too expensive either.

Well, don't get your hopes up too high. It's just a short mood video that I put together at the last minute for Anime Evolution. More of a practice piece for long crossfades and motion settings. But the song is very rare and one that I was trying to get for a long time.

The one thing that was good about the "Oscar" movie was the production design (costumes, sets, etc.) Which is why I thought at the time that a decent video could be made from it even though the movie itself was a dud.

On topic: another rarely used anime is "Bubblegum Crisis", either the original or the "2040". In fact, I don't think I've ever seen a fanmade AMV using the original series, only the "Hurricane" videos that were made in the early Nineties (?).
