Thats a bit long... i usually do about 4 seconds... if people accualy care to see who made the vid then they'll pause it *if im entering a con i might extend the credits to get more people to my website*SnhKnives wrote:I like the short 10-12 second video bumber with maybe a studio logo on it, and then all the technical info at the end.
Just my style

It really depends on the mood and style of the video for me. I always open with my 'Streamliner Studios Presents' logo and the title. 4-5 seconds for each. (Varies to the intro to the music. I usually put the title over the opening bars before the lyrics start.) If there are a lot of credits due to multiple songs or anime, I list them after the video. If its simple (one song and one anime), I usually include them in the title bumper.

You have to remember that AMVs do just float around on KaZaA and whatnot without anyone knowing what the hell a-m-v.org is.trythil wrote:I don't really bother with credits...
I figure that if someone really wants to know about the video, they'll hit the .org up for the information. Otherwise, there's no point in telling them.
I just attach this little five second screen with my online handle and the song credits at the end. No need to be flashy.

Yeah, jsut because you didn't put them on KaZaA dosn't mean some one esle didn't.
But I put my bummpers up acrodingly (I didn't call them buffers this time
).
Start: Studio name
Mid: AMV
End: AMV name
More End: band song and anime credits
For each AMV I make (I'v made 2), I customize each buffer(I'v made 4 start buffers).
Yay for me!
