AWA Pro Deadline Approaching FAST!

Post by MCWagner » Mon Aug 02, 2004 4:21 pm

Just a brief reminder: The Pro contest deadline for AWA 10 is fast approaching.

Come and participate in AWA's contestant-nominated-and-judged contest for the honest opinions of your fellow AMVers! See what they really think of your more experimental or off-the-track ideas. Take this opportunity to do in-depth examinations of other peoples' (anonomous) work and give your own verdict on what's exceptional and unique.

An extension has been granted until 8-4, so anyone who gave up on making it in this year has a few more days to get those last couple of kinks out of the system before it's really too late.

Judging tapes or DVDs will be shipped out shortly after the final due date on 8-4, to be followed by nominations and judging.

*sigh* I still didn't get confirmation if my package arrived. I just hope it didn't get lost somewhere, I'll put the video up online though in any case...

Oh shit, I forgot to hand the form the Quu at Otakon

Is it okay if that arrives slightly after the deadline? The video is uploaded and the tapes have already been mailed.
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

bote: I'll give Quu a poke and see if he hasn't gotten around to sending you the confirmation yet. Go ahead and upload it in the meantime to be safe.

Kusoyaro: The forms or tapes can arrive a little late, so long as the videos are in.

Thanks!

I haven't gotten any kind of confirmation either for the blank dvd's and form I sent via express mail, but then I didn't think one was going to be sent out, at Acen we didn't do any kinda of confirmation besides a "video has been checked" e-mail from the otaku video website.

I know he got the upload since I uploaded it myself, hehe I just hope I didn't screw anything up when I Mailed in the signature form and blank dvd's.

This is my first year entering AWA, (entered pro) so I'm hoping my video does well :) It feels great being able to compete against everyone again. That's the one thing I regret about taking over acen's amv contest. But I guess I can make awa my new home to compete since that's the one everyone looks to as being the best to begin with. Now I'll just have to try and get out there sometime to meet and greet everyone.
Gimme a minute, I'll make a cool one....

as much as I'd love to sadly I can't, I don't have the cash to go, and even if I did I'd have classes to content with :/ but still I'll be watchin the org when the winner are announced. I dun care if I win or lose, I just wanna know what people thought of my vid, adn this one is dramatically different than what I've done in the past.
