Epileptic Seizures?

Any mass of flashing can trigger a seizeure, typically the ideal conditions are a dark room with a single light source (TV). However, the occurance is rare and it depends, it's better if someone has a pre-disposition towards epilepsy.

Keep in mind, when Pokemon gave those kids seizures only a hundred of the entire Pokemon viewing population of Japan suffered a seizure. (25% of whom had already had a seizure before in their life, meaning they had a predisposition for it.) And another 500 or so went to hospital for symptoms ranging from nausea and hyperventilation to convulsions.

The trick was numerious things, from the way a typical Japanese living room is set up with it's cramped space, to the flashing of red and blue at a frequence of roughly 12 hertz. Of course, this means that many, many, many, many, many people were uneffected by the show and dnejoyed it. Very few AMV's meet the requirements to cause seizures, but there are a few on the Donut that if viewed in the right setting could trigger one in specfic viewers.

The proof is still in the pudding, it's been known for years that concentrated strobing can triggure seizures, but it's unlikely and uncomon.

i sometimes get a headache but that's probably cause i watched the ddr project in the dark around midnight in a semi tight dorm room. i don't think it was a seizure. i hope not.
