Eventually Evangelion will be another one o those Animes that give people the impression of being purely commercial (which couldn't be further from the truth) and not worth watching (which, again, couldn't be further from the truth if it took an F-16 to LIE). Sure, they might make a little money out of it, but they're wearing off the image of NGE. That's very bad for everyone (except people who don't like NGE, but im my prejudicial oppinion these people aren't worth mentioning). These big companies should know when to stop.
It saddens a fan like me...
Does what fools think matter so much to you? Evangelion is being released in a better version. What's wrong with that? It's better to have the better version available to those who want to buy it (and those who want a full boxset that contains the crucially important "Director's Cut" scenes) then to simply leave us with the inferior version for the sake of not being commercail.
If you ask me, being uncommercail just for the sake of being uncommercail is like being anti-establishment just to be cool. If people refuse to watch something because it's been released a lot of times then they are freaking idiots that will live without the splendor of Evangelion. What kind of a serious mind would assume that just because something is released over and over again that it can't be great?
