Listen Up All J-rock fans or L'arc~en~Ciel Fans! Help bring L'arc~en~ciel to CA by signing this petition! And please Help out and Spread teh word and get everyone to Sign!

Bands don't choose where they go. Get in contact with a promoter, find a way to prove to them it would be worth it to pay for a venue, passports, taxes, plane tickets for the band AND their equipment, and anything they desire for the show, and still make a profit. Then they'll come over and do a show.

Well, if they came to the US once, I'm sure they will again. And currently there have been one or 2 petitions flying around...and they're busy doing there best to convince L'arc~en~Ciel to come. Right now this petiton will be sent to Tofu Records, Ki/oon records, and the L'arc~en~Ciel Mangement. And Tofu Records DID bring TM Revolution over to perform. So I'm hoping that they'll have L'arc~en~Ciel come over to perform.

Yea, I gotta agree here. It's a neat idea, but I think the petition really needs to be aimed at a promoter first and foremost - nailz is entirely right there, that's how it works. Now, major promoters like Clear Channel aren't exactly known for being responsive, but eh, it's probably more realistic to address them.

I mean hey, just as an example, as much as these two of my favorite artists are friends and collaborators - David Sylvian and King Crimson could not get to tour together due to promoters' financial concerns. They really wanted to, the fans thought it was great, the promoter didn't. Result: promoter wins.

Although I'm sure the petition will at least reveal whether there's at least enough fans to even mildly annoy the promoter, should they decide to put in the real effort...
