Third Eye Gathering - Irvine, CA

Looks like an interesting 'con' of sorts, with some great musical talents lined up. It's running Aug 26-28, and will feature artists like The California Guitar Trio (w/ Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto), TU (yay... wish I could get there for them), Aloke Dutta (tabla master of Danny Carey of Tool and Pat Mastelotto of King Crimson), and Tweaker.

I'd say any serious music fans and pretentious art appreciators in that area better get their asses down there (as I surely would have were I less than 2000 miles away...)
