Yes. Downloading anime caused my computer to explode. Now I own a large, computer shaped paperweight and this crappy laptop which has 50 megs of space total. Thats about enough room to have one picture and a song. Anime broke my computer. My computer is my life. Hence, anime ruined my life. btw, I would rather have anime than my computer, but without my computer I have no anime. It's a vicious circle.
-Are children who act in rated 'R' movies allowed to see them?
-Do they have girl’s bathrooms in gay bars?

I believe that's called a "Catch 22". Not the book.

Actually, anime made my life better in an odd way. You see, through my anime club I got training in how to work with big complicated A/V systems (not that it's really all that hard). This got me some work over the summer, and may well get me a steady job in the fall. Assuming I can wrest myself away from AMVs long enough to do so.

I don't know. Anime has been a significant factor in my personal development. Aside from stimulating an interest in cultural studies, liberal arts, and videogames, I have also used countless hours watching it and participating inr elated fan activities.

Are you a super fanboy nerdy geek otaku?
[X] Cosplay
[X] Fanfic
[X] Fansub
[X] Materials Distribution (Anime/Other)
[X] Conferences, attended symposia, the plenary, sems, etc
---> I'm handing out 100 copies of the VCA at Nan Desu Kan.
[X] Internet-related activities pertaining to anime
---> www.AnimeTheory.com
[X] Learned something about Japan you didn't know before
[X] Makes jokes and references to Anime
[X] Makes jokes and references to Japanese artifacts

If I never saw my first episode of G Wing, I might never have learned
to do tsukamaki the right way (the wrapping of sword handles),
block wangiri (wan/kiri, one ring) phone calls,
to use After Effects and encoding softwares,
that square is the usual attack button on playstation games,
what a torii looks like, etc to measure length in shaku
, (and rooms in unstandard tatami sizes),

and I wouldn't have made this Omamori of DDoS Protection +5.

Plus not to mention waste time doing:
