Because of the very limited CG cut scenes in Final Fantasy 8, or any video game for that matter, it's almost entirely impossible to make a "good" AMV for it. I personally have NEVER seen what I would call a "good" Final Fantasy AMV and I certainly have never seen anything that I would call "great". *shrugs*DanzigWarheit wrote:I was just sitting here thinking to myself,

Yes, yes I do.
The amount of source footage you have to work with can reflect a great deal in the final product, which is why you wanna try and not limit yourself.

I understand, I just ran into that very problem.
I just put together a rush job trailer using FF7 instead (I lack FF8 because I dislike the game), and I had to cut the song short just so I could fill 2'37" without repeating.
If anybody's interested I'm asking a friend of mine to host it. It's not great, only 8 hours work, but it's not bad either.
By the way, does anybody know where I could get ahold of any gameplay footage from Silent Hill 3? I have the Playstation version of the game, but lack a way to record from the system. I'm not looking for fmv or anything per se, but the only game footage I've come across was on Gamespot, and they wanted me to pay to download it.
