was keitaro's voice the absolute WORST in the english version?

He's 2nd. Kitsune's voice ranks #1 as the worst.

Actually I thought Motoko's was the worst...but I really liked Shirai and Hitani's VAs.

yeah, kitsune certainly disturbed me. since when do hokkaido natives speak with western drawls?

Well, you have to realize that the ADR needed some sort of equivalent voice in order to portray the Osakan accent. Unfortunetely, it turned out really bad. Hell, ADV does a MUCH better job handling this accent; just look at Azumanga Daiho and Abenobashi.
