be patient...most of the qusetions posted here don't get answered within the first few hours. It takes around 24 hours for the guys who know stuff to answer every question.

In the mean time, go to www.doom9.com , These guys should know something about motion effects. Also, do a "search" in the forum. Most likely this question has been asked. Want more information, do a www.google.com search for "motion effects." Or try to find it in the Help file of your software. Try those out for now.

Assuming you're using Premiere...

Hit the 'pause' button, the one inbetween the preview and placement windows.

Drag the arrow above the mini-timeline(the one pointing down) all the way to the left.

Set the Zoom to %25.

Drag the Arrow all the way to the right.

Set the Zoom to %100.

oh and we aren't your fucking waiters either...

Dude, I don't mean to be an ass or anything but such a basic effect needn't be given any help.

You want motion movement? Ask me how to do the Dancing Stars "Vertigo Strobe" and maybe I'll throw ya some hints...

Have you read the manual?
"If someone feels the need to 'express' himself or herself with a huge graphical 'singature' that has nothing to do with anything, that person should reevaluate his or her reasons for needing said form of expression, possibly with the help of a licensed mental health practitioner."

Motion settings are old news man :\ I rarely use them

I like the Transform Effect better despite it's crappiness.

After Effects' motion effects and other special effects are SO much better than Premiere's...there's no comparison. However, there's still no way to import the VOB files into AE yet, so I guess we're stuck with Premiere's crappy Transform effect and Motion Settings.

Don't get me wrong....Premiere demolishes AE when it comes to editing. That's why they're considered brother and sister applications: AE's effects and Premiere's editing. And Transorm and Motion are good for basic effects. But I still wish AE supported MPEG-2.....oh, well...maybe in version 6....is anyone in here on the inside at Adobe and know if AE will ever support MPEG-2??
