Local Video Upload!

Post by Ab-109 » Sun Jul 18, 2004 5:06 am

Hiya,

I just entered the info for a vid I've finished the same way I've always done, then I went to 'upload video' but it says "You have no videos with completed information to upload" even though all the info is there :?

Anyone know why?

Heres the vid info,

The anime you listed has not been confirmed as anime yet.

However, I'm not sure whether Dark Fury can be listed as anime at all, being made by a korean-born animator working in US for Universal Studios.

Yes, that would mean the video isn't allowed on the org.

If I was to host the vid somewhere else and then link to it would that be allowed? would I be breaking any rules? or should I get rid of the vid profile alltogether? :?

Well currently it would mean that you wouldn't be able to participate in the Viewers Choice Awards.

Spirits Within was made by Square who are japanese. They built an animation studio in hawaii to do it but that's hardly the point.

As for the animatrix yes it is true that certain parts are technically non-anime. However, as a large proportion of the animatrix is actually anime it seemed silly to ban the whole because of parts.

You will be able to receive opinions, yes, but we very much discourage people putting non-anime videos on the database.
