why would u ever want to filter out curse words. if you dont like them install a filter like zarax said or just dont come to the forums. u know no one is makeing u read the threads.

Actually it is, there is a filter built into PHPBB that lets you control what cuss words are used. As in ass is replaced by Dooky

then i'd have a hard time wondering what a person said when the words are replaced

That could make for some interesting conversation...

"You need to go and pull your head out of your dooky!"
"I'm just gunna pull something out of my dooky."
"I just sat on the stove and burned my dooky!"
"I went out and purchased a dooky today, and rode that dooky all the way back home."

if there were that many threads like that, thru the process of elimination anyone figure out that dooky means 'ass' wow one word out of hundreds of filtered words to go
