let's reduce the area and state that by mecha i mean giant robots, ok? I got midway through the series of blue gender and it's ok till now. The action starts to heat up. I also have gundam seed. is it any good? Evanghelion confuses me a little (only from what i've been told by a friend who watched it and by the posts that were on this forum) Maybe, i'll take a look at the series, if i'll have the opportunity.

Which series are you reffering to? The "Meteor" Gundams were Guerrillas and I can't really see 08th MS team being so.

Till now, blue gender was kinda spooky and boring at times but now the action seems to be heating up a little. (i'm about episode 13)

blue gender is an excellent show. i like how they have moved on from simple "large robots that look like people walking around kicking ass." sure, the designs seem a little goofy but im greatly impressed that they broke away from the norm.

does anyone like full metal panic? that had some good mecha elements.

I love the first episode when the view is first introduced to the shrike. The fact that it made so little noise and you could hear the air whipping by was spooky. The lack of noise can be so disturbing.

yeah, its refreshing to see the thing move on wheels when mecha usually can run, jump and fly.
