nope, i'm using a picture of the sheet music. i looked at jasper's and it looks like he's using a picture of the composer.
"She's."

Yeah I thought it might be kinda awkward to have a blank screen while the commentor talks about the composer for a whole paragraph.

Oh by the way, the anime for Surrealism is Beyond, from the Animatrix.

Ah, so not just AMV images - good, I bet people are tired enough of all the same Eva scenes anyway.

Anything on the image size? Full screen res preferable, I suppose?

(/goes off looking through massive King Crimson-related picture collection...)
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

(/just realized I took the music track for Wasteland from a live DVD.)

Now that ought to be an interesting idea... screencaps here I come.

***

Um... anyway, is the order list missing several tracks because it hasn't been decided where they go yet, or is there another logic behind it?

Yes, i would also like to know if there's anything preference to the size. My smallest image is about 296x302... is that too small?

Plus i still can't connect to emily's server.

I'm sure he's offline for now. He hasn't posted since last Wednesday. Come back, Rose4Emily!!

Your image should be fine. In fact, the vertical resolution is already greater than the widescreen resolution that we're using.

I just used the resolution sizes of the videos (512x384 for Fullscreen, 512x288 for Widescreen) to make my stills. I'm assuming that on the narratives, they'll be resized to a smaller res than that, as they'll be showing on some sort of screen that the animated guy is watching.

Oh yeah, and compress to PNG-24 as that seems to be Rose4's preferred image format. [I only discovered last week that PNG is actually lossless. Now why was I an editor in a manga scanslation group for over five months? :? ]

When creating this piece, a parallel between “Edward Scissorhands” and “Spirited Away” was used as the foundation for “A Boy I Knew…”

[image 1]At the heart, “Edward Scissorhands” is about a young girl [image 2]who becomes enchanted by a mysterious stranger’s unearthly ability to [image 3]bring beauty and love into her life. Their story [image 4]ended too soon as the young girl and the stranger were torn apart, never able to see each other again. Similarly, [image 5]“Spirited Away” illustrates a friendship that [image 6]ultimately ended as a priceless memory.

[image 7]Danny Elfman, who has written hundreds of scores for various movies, wrote this finale piece [image 8]for “Edward Scissorhands” in 1990. The most [image 9]remarkable aspect of this composition is its ability to tell a story in and of itself. Everything from the choral elements to the boy’s chorus exemplifies this magnificent fairy tale. Danny Elfman[image 10] couldn’t describe it better himself: "...if there's one thing I really love... it's sad music."
Ok, and as soon as the server awakens, ill upload the pics, which are PNG.

apologies on the server being down again. this time it's an issue of location. i had to move the box out of the home office - as the office is being re-arranged, and had to move it into my room - where there is no ethernet. so, tonight, i go to home depot to get a reel of cat5 (yes, i do need that much - i live over a barn) and all the connecter junk so i should be able to have it all hooked up again either this evening or tomorrow.

at work now, so i've got to go.
may seeds of dreams fall from my hands -
and by yours be pressed into the ground.

I believe that was 'Surrealism' we were talking about. Is that still what we're going for?
