Some say she was the greatest J-pop idol ever.

The Encyclopedia Idollica covers the "silver age" of J-pop, the golden age being the Sixties and Seventies.

There seems to be a backlash at the new producer-backed idols and the Spice Girls wannabe groups, resulting in an 80s idol nostagia movement. A lot of people are starting to realize that all the new music sounds the same and it's all crap. Soulless. Lifeless. The classic idol scene is still very much alive. The original fans have remained very loyal after all these years and the music companies have recognized this by re-releasing lots of classic idol cds and even videos.

they are an awsome band (did great at AKon15 too)
but them and the the pillows are awsome.

That song is also the intro song for Colorful Kiss. And speaking of Kotoko, the intro song she did for Onegai Twins, "Second Flight"...man that song is just 8 shades of kick ass!

Yes, sorry, I forgot to mention psycho le cemu. I heard them once from a friend and was pretty impressed. Oh and I think they are considered J-Rock.
