Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

Short story:
Well, it's a cute video :)
Long Story:
I actually watched another video before yours, one
which is superbly encoded, is impeccably timed, has
top-notch reviews, tons of effects, incorporates scenes
made from scratch, etc, etc, etc. I gave that vid a "3"
(keeping in mind that my average is 2.82, and so far only
three vids on the org rate a "5" from me). I gave it that score
based on effort and technical prowess, and even then I
debated it.
Yours is of deplorable quality, it's repetitive, and uses
a white-out to represent the "shining sun". I gave yours
a "3" too. The reason is this: I will forget the technical
marvel by the end of the week. Yours I'll watch when I
feel life sucks (a rather common situation :) because
it's cute and nice and it doesn't pretend to be anything
other than an uplifting dance video. You stick to the song
and you tell your story and it's charming. I wish more people
would remember to do that instead of cramming every
single frame with sixteen different effects to show off
how 31337 they are.
Nonetheless, you should try to improve on the quality of
your material. If you don't have a "shining sun" scene then
don't try to be literal: use, say, a disco mirror ball, which
would work well within the context of your vid. Avoid
repeating scenes so much, be more creative with the
material you have. Your heart is in the right place, though:
I deleted the super-duper 9+ overall score from my hard
drive, and kept yours :)
Cheers!
