Question about "hits"

are hits the number of times your video has been downloadded, or the number of time itsd been looked at?

The number of times that the video description page has been viewed.

Not that 'hits' isn't an interesting stat, but is there a way to find out how many 'downloads' (preferably excluding re-downloads by the same user) an AMV has? Or alternatively the number of 'star ratings' it has received (since that should in theory by only a few less than the number of downloads)?

On the main member page click 'edit my videos'. That'll tell you how many hits, ops, stars, star average, and downloads a vid has. I believe the downloads does only count 1 per user no matter how many times that one person downloads it but I could be wrong on that.

Ahh, okay. I was looking at other people's videos. ^_^

But that's fine; one's own videos are where those will be most interesting.
