Steel Angels

I think I may know one that is funny and far from obvious given the band that made the song. They aren't exactly well know for their humorous side, but rather their dark melody grunge songs.

Try the song Dumb by Nirvana. You can get it on the self-titled CD that was released fairly recently.

Maybe AC/DC's Shook Me All Night Long. Its up beat too and could make for some funny possibilities.

A serious one for any anime with questions of souls and humanity would be Human by Metallica. I like the S&M version myself.

How about Weird Al's Dare to be Stupid. No one is funny like Weird Al.

Perhaps this will help if you are not familiar with those I suggested.

It may help if I know the type of music you like or maybe an example.

I will try to think of more. I know I have one planned to Steel Angel Kurumi myself after I finish up my current project.

More Songs

Not like Nirvana? Kurt Cobain is one of the greatest artist ever. I just don't like the way it ended.

I still think Dumb would be the best choice for Steel Angel Kurumi so far. It has a lot of comic happenings for it.

As for romantic songs Bon Jovi has plenty of them. I think the earlier days were probably the best.

Or Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N' Roses.

Janie's Got a Gun might work for Gunslinger Girls. I haven't seen it but I read about it. Sounds pretty dark.

Fullmetal Alchemist? I've never seen that, but for three reasons (i love to butt into people's lives, i have nothing better to do and you asked for heavy metal) I must state the obvous. Although, if nobody said it before me, it might not be as obvious as I think.

Iron Maiden.

The album Brave New World and the new one, Dance of Death have some really good ones, but in my oppinion, the best heavy song by the band is CHILDREN OF THE DAMNED. Too bad I forgot the album its from.
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

FMA

Ahhh. Why didn't I think of that. Children of the Damned seems like it would fit FMA pretty well.

Perfect Song for the Job

Post by HeavyMetal » Mon Jul 12, 2004 12:24 am

Given the Chobits logo I doubt your into metal too much, but I could be wrong.

So I tried to think of a non-metal song.

Then I thought of it. A great song (damn perfect for it) for Steel Angel Kurumi.

....Drum Roll....

Simply Irresistible

I looked it up and it is made by Robert Palmer.
