i think "adaptation" is the appropriate word here.
AznRAVEr1022 wrote:On the instrumentality page, it says this
@Creators: Please submit 720X480 renders to Bakadeshi's FTP server
what is that?
it should say the ftp address is to be announced also. he hasn't posted an ftp address, or i missed it.

rose4emily: i've decimated my video from 30 to 24 fps, but it's quite choppy. do you know any way to convert fps without changing speed or making it choppy?

I'll have an FTP up probably after Otacon. Hopefully by then everyones entries will be done and we can actually start readying the project for release.

>> SHAMELESS!!

Sorry I've been kinda inactive. I had been working on the collaborative AMV between my studio partner and I... and we finally released ittonight!! :D

AHEM.
Surrealism wrote: The music in this next piece was created by Joe Hisaishi [image 1] for the original Japanese production of Castle in the Sky. Hisaishi has composed the beautiful scores for many Miyazkai films, including Nausicaa, Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away. When Disney licensed Castle in the Sky for domestic release, they asked Hisaishi to add more music because - quote/unquote - Americans feel uncomfortable if there is no music for more than three minutes. A new soundtrack was complied, but it lacked many of the songs from the original soundtrack. One of these was a soft piano melody called "Sheeta's Decision."

"Sheeta's Decision" is calm and dream-like. [image 2] It begins a simple string of notes, then transfers to quick glissandos. And then the main melody drifts in. It carries us away to a surreal world [image 3]... where [slight emphasis] anything is possible. [image 4] Time slows down... gravity [image 5] releases its hold... and mysteries [image 6] lurk beyond heavy doors... [fade to bumper?]
Rose4Emily: since your ftp seems to be down at the moment, I've uploaded the Surrealism images to my own account. You can download them in a zip here.

Guys, I'm alive!

I have no idea what's going on and my bandwith is now thin like a straw... but if someone can fill me in on what's going on - that'd be good. Glad to see everyone active as ever :)
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
