ProgPowerUSA / AWA - both in Atlanta, GA??

Hmmm, I just noticed that the biggest Progressive/Power metal concert in America is held in Atlanta, GA.
and the biggest Anime Music Video convention is held in Atlanta, GA.

Hmmm, what is it about this city? Maybe I should move there. I mean it's like "the hub" for both Anime and Metal.

Atlanta is the hub for a lot of things(AirTran, Delta, AWA, 4 or 5 interstates, etc). The city itself has nice aspects, but is kinda messed up right now. The metro area(east half in particular) is a pretty good place to live overall. And you can find just about anythign you want around here too.

I think it's because Atlanta is _the_ major city in the Southeast. I'm sure concert promoters will tell you that if you go to the Southeast, you go to Atlanta.
