amv profile link in forum profile

Post by madmag9999 » Wed Jul 07, 2004 4:01 am

idk if this was already suggested but if it was and it wasnt done yet get going on it. theres a link to everthing in each users forum profile but you cant look at their amv profile and see the amv's they made. i think it would be a nice feature.

But there's a link to the amv profile right there next to the forum one on everyone's posts...

And what if someone shows up in a search, but doesn't post?

Why would you search for people on the forum if you were looking for someone's amv profile? Wouldnt you just use the "search for members" on the members main page?

sometimes when i see someone i know on. i click on there name on the bottom of the forum. becouse i dont feel like going to find a post by them or going back to the main page then to the member search and typeing in their name. i just think it would be a nice conveniant feater.

There's a link in every user's forum profile that says "Find All Posts by User" and clicking on it does exactly what it says.

So: Go to the user's profile. Click on "Find All Posts" link. Click on a post, any post. Scroll down to the user's post. Click on the Org profile button.

4 clicks and a scroll. 8)

It's too much programming. I can't justify getting one of the site's coders to work on this just so your lazy ass doesn't have to make a few clicks :)

Because we didnt write the forum software. Thats the problem, it's rewriting someone elses code.

We've patched things onto the forum software but it's not easy to do and makes it a bitch to upgrade.
