ey, i see alot of newbs doin these kinda threads, so i thought wat the hell.

at first i only joined this site cuz i was atracted to the music part of AMVs. now i guess im biting the bullet and finaly lookin into anime. so i thought id ask here.

im lookin for anime that deals with either nuclear holocost, urban decay, stuff like that.

I recommend you try looking into the Akira movie for some Armageddon-type scenes, if that's what you're going for...

Grave of the Fireflies is one of the only anime movies to move me to open tears.

And I was watching this in my Army barracks dayroom. It is that moving.

To this day, I can only watch it when I am in a good mood or I get all moody and depressed.

oh man, i didnt know it was the same one until i looked into it, but i watched the end of it when i was really young, no younger then elementary school. fucked me up for weeks.
