Unfortunately they are a little ambiguous as to what they mean by the "top 100" (well "top" is ambiguous - I understand "100" fine...)
But if it's supposed to be the 100 most "classic" movie songs, then there are a few on the list that I have to vehemently disagree with...
<rant>
First of all, anything with a date that begins with "2" is simply too new to be "classic". Some stuff from the 90's may even be too new...
Second, anything from Titanic is _not_ "classic". A way overrated movie, IMO, with way overrated music.
Third, there's way too little Disney music, I suspect. I suppose I could be wrong here - I haven't really looked closely at each song from each Disney movie. But on the list of 100, I think I counted about 3 songs from Disney movies. Considering every animated and CG movie, and some of the live action ones, are musicals; considering just how many Disney movies there are (it's a lot); and considering that they get professional, popular, and talented musicians to write songs for their movies, I have a hard time believing that there are only 3 worth making the list.
Fourth, although I'm not sure what their stance on songs that are in movies but were not written for the movie (i.e. preexisting songs) is, but I have doubts as to whether musical movies that were originally stage musicals should be allowed to count songs that were originally written for on the stage. (But I may be speaking crazy talk here...) *shrug*
Fifth, I think "Streets of Philadelphia" should be rated higher.
Finally, the following simply should not be on the list:
Theme from Shaft (cool, funny, but not quite "classic")
"Beauty and the Beast" (good, but not quite good enough, especially considering some of the Disney songs that did _not_ make the list)
"Lose Yourself" (Eminem does _not_ belong anywhere _near_ this list!)
"All That Jazz" (just on the list because 'Chicago' was recent, and popular, but it will be forgotten in time I think)
"My Heart Will Go on" (no, No, NO!!! And they even placed it _high_ on the list!?!?!? This is one that was popular, who knows why, and _should_ have been forgotten in time...)
That's all... for now.
If you actually read through all that, I'm impressed.
If you read through all that and you think I'm a _moron_, then I'm not impressed anymore. Oh yeah, and _you're_ the moron.
If you read through all that and actually _don't_ think I'm a moron or a jerk, then I'm both impressed and awed.

Metal Remake of Mission Impossible
Well if its not classic I would say this in my favorite:
Mission Impossible 2 Intro Theme - from MI2 directed by John Woo.
Sorry I just don't like many classic movies Here is why so you know its not some groundless bastard opinion.
Acting in really old movies stinks.
It was adapted from stage theater which had to yell and over exaggerate in a time before microphones for the people in the back rows.
Time acceleration and time cut scene are not featured.
In MST3K: The Movie they make fun of a little title by the name of This Island Earth. During one part they use a film break to get ride of like a 20 minute shot of a plastic model space ship flying into the distance of space. This happens a lot in old movies as they don't assume you know what happens if they cut to later on.
Time Context
Some often deal with cultural or social issues that are dead to day. Some are based on a limited world view in prior times. A lot are based on the Cold War and the USSR always gets cast as the bad guy. You would think that the USSR wasn't a member of the allied forces a few years earlier in WWII.
Bad Sound Quality
Static sucks, enough said. The picture isn't always to great either.
